You can dry your eye’s kids…

It won’t be long until about-philadelphiapa.com is fully back up.

“OK, last week I was in Atlanta installing our new servers. Everything is installed and powered up. This week expect to have a lot of downtime. We will be moving sites and databases all this week. We will also be upgrading to the newest version of WordPress. The plan is to have everything moved and back up and working 100% before COB on Friday. As of today I feel really good that we will reach this goal.

Thanks”

That come straight from the mouth (?) of the 451 Press owner. For those of you who are sticking around to see when about-philadelphiapa.com will work again, I applaud you, and thank you. Look forward to every day blogs again soon.

Where the hell has Kyle gone? Or where is he going?

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

The past week or few you may have noticed that I haven’t been posting as much as I normally do. I have previously posted that 451 Press is going through some technical difficulties, and, well, those technical difficulties haven’t ended. I am going to take a short break until 451 Press has all of their problems straightened out. If you are one of the few readers that has decided to stick around even though sometimes my blog won’t load, thank you. As you can imagine all of the problems that seem never ending are incredibly frustrating to me, but I’m trying hard not to give up. The minute I get the clear that every problem is solved I will than start posting at least five to six times a day.

For now come visit me at omigod.net.

Technical Difficulties

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

As you may have noticed by now 451 Press is going through some technical difficulties. There may be times where you visit about-philadelphiapa.com and you’ll see a message that says we are currently experiencing high load or that the blog cannot find the server. This is going to be normal for the next two weeks. It’s going to take two weeks for the new hardware to arrive. I will be blogging as much as possible, so please bare with me.

Greetings Philly Phriends!

Wednesday, June 27th, 2007

I’m going to make this short because it is way too hot to sit at my computer in my un-airconditioned house. blah. (by the way, current temp. is 94 degrees!!!) but anyway…just a quick HELLO! and welcome to the new and improved Philly blog! :]
no offense to previous writers, but this blog has been lacking. So here i am to breathe new life into what i hope will become an informative guide about Philadelphia for those in the city, surrouding areas, or just looking to visit. I plan to feature facts, events, hot spots, restaurants/bars, and various other random things that have to do with the city of brotherly love. I’ll go into more detail (perhaps tomorrow) about those different categories.
for now, i’m off to find a cool place to relax. I suggest yous all do the same. Peace!
